Job Title: Reconditioning Plant SupervisorReport to: Production Manager
Job Responsibilities:
The correct operation of the department for waste recovery and reconditioning of IBC

Main Objective of the Job:
lOrganise and control the safe operation of the IBC reconditioning operation in conformance with XXXX Health & Safety Policy, national and local regulations.
lControl the team for the production and quality of refurbished IBCs.
lOrganise and control the disposal of waste.
lMaintain relationships within the local authorities to ensure compliance with regulations.
lProvide general guidance/supervision to team.

Responsibilities:
lOrganise the safe receipt, separation and storage of used IBC.
lOrganise the reconditioning of these according to XXXX systems.
lSchedule general operators’ work rotas, according to priorities.
lTrain existing and new employees to optimum standard.
lControl the safe disposal of solid or liquid waste products in accordance with all regulations.
lEnsure the correct maintenance of the tools and equipment
lAccurate completion of relevant production and quality records.
lEnsure all work meets with output and quality standards to which the company is committed.
lEnsure a high standard of house-keeping is maintained at all times in own work area and other areas within the factory.
lAny other duties within the reasonable scope of the individual’s capabilities or for which training can be provided.

Qualifications:
Education:
lCollege degree or above.

Experience:
lExperience of waste management within the Chinese regulations. Status to be acceptable to the authorities as a waste operator. Minimum 3 years related experience

Job Knowledge:
lKnowledge of waste management and workshop management. A general understanding of chemicals, names, types and some reactions.

Ability/Skill:
lOrganisational and supervisory skills to control and discipline a team of operators.
lConversant with quality systems and other control procedures.
lSufficient English proficiency to be able to use International documents, e.g. Work Instructions or Material Safety Data Sheets. Some training may be required abroad.
lFork lift license is an advantage
lWillingness to progress within the working area through planned training and experience
lBe familiar with Chinese law & regulatory about waste recondition
lSense of responsibility, willing to study
lBe able to work under pressure
lProblem-solving.
