Work Location: Shanghai
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Technical customer support for epoxy systems in Asia Pacific, i.e. technical presentations/discussions with customers on epoxy systems and related services, on-site technical customer support
• Lead epoxy laboratory in Shanghai, i.e. functional leadership of epoxy lab technician(s), planning and execution of lab test programs incl. documentation of results, communication of test results with customers about test results
• Representation at trade fairs and technical conferences in Asia Pacific
• Prepare technical communication packages as promotional aids and develop material for technical training of the regional sales teams
• Support expansion of epoxy team scope to new markets
• Support market intelligence activities (information about markets, products, customers and competitors)
REQUIREMENTS:
Technical/Scientific education in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering / Chemical technology / Science
Minimum 5 years of experience in R&D, production or technical customer support in the Epoxy Industry, in particular in the market segment composites, Technical sales experience is a plus
High degree of technical knowledge related to the application of amines in the above mentioned epoxy segment
High degree of proficiency in written & oral communication skills in Mandarin and English
Strong networking, communication and intercultural skills, strong team working esprit
